MVA FUND CEO RECOGNIZED FOR HER CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS UPLIFTING NAMIBIAN WOMEN
The Confident Women Awards hosted on Friday, 16 August 2019, saw a remarkable woman, who
started as a young girl selling tomatoes and packaging groceries at a local supermarket in Rundu, being recognized for her contribution towards uplifting Namibian women and her influential role in the Business: Corporate Sector.
The CEO of MVA Fund Rosalia Martins-Hausiku ascribed her success to those who gave her a chance to become a better version of herself. “Whilst many would have seen a young woman with big dreams of changing the world, my mentors saw potential worth unpacking. The Fund’s Board saw a young woman who is deeply ingrained with a passion to make a difference at the MVA Fund. Moreover, being given that chance is all I needed to play my part in building the Namibian dream,” read her address that was presented on her behalf by the Fund’s Chief Corporate Affairs, Surihe Gaomas-Guchu.
