The MVA Fund recently trained 55
females from MTC, Roads Authority
(RA), Ministry of Gender Equality,
Poverty Eradication and Social in
defensive driving as a resolution
from the 2024 Women in Road
Safety.
The training formed part of a resolution
from the Women in Road Safety, is
part of the Fund’s strategy aimed at
developing a road safety culture and
improve driving standards of drivers,
aims to enhance, and develop the
skills of drivers essential to avoid
crashes and their resultant injuries and
fatalities.

The two-day training, sponsored by the MVA Fund and
conducted by Riverside Trading, concluded with participants
earning certificates of competence after practical training at
the Tony Rust Racetrack and surrounding terrains, helping
participants analyze and respond to different road situations
to avoid crashes and save lives.
