The Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund is pleased to announce the appointment of its Board of Directors by the Minister of Finance, Honourable Ericah Shafudah, effective 1 April 2026, for a three-year term in accordance with the Public Enterprises Governance Act.
Mr. Namene Shejavali has been re-appointed as Chairperson of the Board, with Mr. Damien Mabengano continuing to serve as Deputy Chairperson. Mr. Magnus Nangombe also returns as a board member, bringing continuity and valuable institutional experience to the Fund’s governance structures.
Joining the Board as newly appointed members are Ms. Ailly Titus, Ms. Charlotte Haingura, Mr. Akutu Amunyela, and Mr. Jauque Jansen. The diverse expertise and leadership of the Board are expected to strengthen the Fund’s strategic direction and commitment to service excellence.
The Board will provide oversight and guidance in advancing the MVA Fund’s mandate of delivering comprehensive support to road crash victims, including financial assistance, medical care, and rehabilitation services, as well as support to dependants of persons fatally injured in motor vehicle accidents.
The MVA Fund congratulates the newly appointed and returning Board members and looks forward to their contribution in driving the organisation’s vision of safer roads and responsive care for all road users in Namibia.
